A Disappointing Sip: Sterling Chardonnay

After thoroughly enjoying Sterling's Cabernet Sauvignon during our Labor Day picnic, I decided to give their Chardonnay a try. Unfortunately, my experience with this wine wasn't quite as delightful.

Priced at $9.99, Sterling Chardonnay comes in the same beautiful bottle that caught my eye with their Cabernet. However, the taste left something to be desired. For my palate, it was a bit too dry, and there was an unpleasant aftertaste that lingered longer than I would have liked.

Now, taste can be highly subjective, so this could just be a personal preference. If you're a fan of drier Chardonnays, this might still be worth a try, especially given its affordable price. But, I would recommend tasting it yourself before considering it as a gift.

In summary, while Sterling's Cabernet Sauvignon won me over, the Chardonnay fell short of my expectations. At $9.99, it’s not a huge risk to give it a try, but it's not a wine I would rush to buy again.
